Savage was just on sports talk radio. He already had a conversation with the local Sheriff and he told Savage he wasn't going to do anything about it. More worried about crime.

Savage mentioned something interesting on the Radio. Gould Academy is a private prep school in Bethel. One of the schools in New England that if you want your kid to be an Olympic skier or jumper you send them there. He said a large population of Gould students are Chinese. They all went home for Christmas break and when they came back a sickness went through the area. He said a lot of people got sick there in January, but the state didn't bother testing. Now there are no CV-19 cases in the area and he wants to get back at it.

Good for him. Good news for Mainers is that if you don't want to visit his restaurant you don't have to w-thumbs!^

ummmm, road trip this weekend?

Actually, I know a couple of local back rooms, don't have to drive to Maine

And I'm socially distancing the next two weeks so I can go see my grandchildren :). I have to behave, no road trip, damn

It's one of my favorite pubs when I go to Sunday River with friends/family.

My wife and I went to Maine last weekend to open up our family cottage. As a Mass resident we have to quarantine when we go so we do.
Bring everything with us and don't visit any stores. While its more packing for us I don't mind at all.

Love that trip from Boston to Maine. We usually go to Vermont (Waterbury area/Hill Farmstead) first...but back from Portland to Boston. Novare Res in Portland is one of the best bars in the world. We love that entire area; it's one of the best beer areas in the world.

Anyone with concerns about the economy should be following his lead.

Yeah, Maine tourism is gone for the summer, but hopefully they can get back to business and welcome some out of state-rs for foliage season.

You ever end up making the trip Stevie I'll point you in the direction for the best Losbta roll in the Old Port. Join you for a beer as well!

My wife grew up right next to Hill Farmstead....great micro brews.

The Old Port is one of those places in Maine that is treasured. Hard to find another place in the world with as many Bars/restaurants in that small of an area.

I grew up in southern Maine . Nothing like gearys pale ale. Haven’t been back to Portland in some time. Good old days stumbling up state street crossing congress totally sauced up. Definitely need a road trip.

I really hope this guy is successful in opening up and there is an avalanche both in his state and others following suit. Many of these nut case Governors are way overstepping their bounds. Publix down here in Fl. just released their financials and they took in an " Extra " 1 billion in sales due to the shutdown. I would suspect the numbers for Home Depot, Costco and the other large box stores that were able to remain open are much the same as well. I fail to see the difference in a small breakfast restaurant who may serve 50-100 people in an average morning. This is insanity at its' finest hour.

Sip went downhill when they outsourced a lot of their production to Two Roads in Connecticut...i'm not sure whose brewing the last couple of months, but it used to be exceptionally good as to just really good now.
Sip and Heady led the NEIPA evolution...

Limington....on a small lake called Peqwauket.
Its about 7 miles west of Sebago Lake. I'm originally from Westbrook. My grandfather built the place 70 years ago.
Nice to still have it in the family so my kids can enjoy the same summers I did.

You grew up on the Ocean...Nice area

Heady Topper is good. Tough to find in the Boston area. My brother in law who lives in Burlington gets it for us.
